WRX Photos & Info

This is our '02 WRX in "WRC Blue." It is a four-door + hatchback wagon with full time all-wheel drive, anti-lock brakes and dual front and side-impact airbags. Very safe and an excellent car for the mountains. It also has brand new tires installed on September 14, 2006.


The WRX is Subaru's stealth car. It looks pretty sedate, but the little boost gauge on the steering column tells another story! The turbo-charged flat four cylinder 2.0 liter engine makes 227 horsepower. When you hit the gas and get into the turbo, the ride gets very fun, very fast!


The WRX has 41,000 miles on it and was purchased new in May of 2002. It is in excellent mechanical condition. The interior is like new and features the upgraded factory 6 disc CD/stereo with an amplifier and subwoofer. It has a leather wrapper MOMO steering wheel, turbo boost gauge, a short throw shifter with a titanium shift knob and aluminum MOMO pedals. It has cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, locks and mirrors, factory keyless entry and alarm and an auto-dimming rear-view mirrow with compass. It is fully loaded!


The car is still under the factory powertrain warranty - 5 years/60,000 miles. The car is EPA rated for 20 city/27 highway mpg. I've found that to be pretty accurate and usually average around 24 mpg. It all depends on how hard you use the turbo!


The car is being sold so that we can buy a four door pick-up with room for my son's car seat and our big yellow lab in the back!
